Up your bum!
We were by the canal for some cheeky seaside fun, watching rebellious pottymouth Lynda (Emily Lloyd) lose her innocence but keep her independence in a postwar fading seaside town. She’s saucy but naive in this classic British drama. It’s a film that really shows how the character grows. Starts off fun – gets quite dark. But ends on a bright yellow sunny high! A real hidden gem of a film.
The rain held off from the nice chilled vibe on the towpath, and we all enjoyed a drink or two with our fish finger butty and stick of rock. Photos to follow soon…
